Gretna =- Hamilton - 1 - dlaczego ? bo Gretna , ; w zgodnej opinii faworyt do awansu ; chociaz kurs kiepski

2 Division :

Morton - Raith 1 - Morton powszechnie uważany jest za głównego i bezapelacyjnego faworyta do awansu. Takie mecze musi wygrywać. aczkolwiek powtórze się Raith wydaje się być niezłym typem na inne mecze

Stitling A- Ayr- 1 - drugi kandydat do awansu. ubiegły sezon (II część) bardzo udana, w przerwie wzmocnienia. A Ayr to raczej osutsider

Forfar - Strenrer - 2 Forfar 3 ligowy słabeusz a Strenrear spadkowicz. Który moim zdaniem wcale nie stracił zawodników pomimo spadku. Tak , ze jeśli marzy o powrocie taki mecz musi być do przodu

3 Division :

ES - Elgin - 2 ES to murowany kandydat do zajęcia ostatniego miejsca , gdy z kolei Elgin miał imponująca koncówkę poprzedniego sezonu , od momentu kiedy załapał możnego sponsora. To teraz powinno być podobnie. I z kim wygrywać jak nie z ES.

East Fife - Stenshousmire - 2- nie wiem dlaczego taki wysoki kurs na Stenshousmire. Moim zdaniem warto grać na faworyta do awansu po takim kursie.

Ot i. Najpewniejszy chyba wydaje się Morton. Tym bardziej , ze w zeszłym sezonie dostalio nauczke , ze tak naprawde trzeba mieć I miejsce bo to jedyna gwarancja awansu. A żeby tak było to trzeba wygrywać systematycznie.

Zgodnie z obietnicą zamieszczam moje propozycje do grania zdarzeń z niższych lig szkockich na nadchodzącą inauguracyjną kolejkę.
Od razu na wstępie zaznaczam, że są to typy zupełnie luźne, gdyż zawsze to pierwsza kolejka, a wiadomo jak to z pierwszymi kolejkami bywa - grają tylko uzależnieni
A więc dla uzależnionych:

Gretna - Hamilton --> 1 @ 1.60 Primebet
W sumie to nie mam za wielkiego przekonania do tego typu, bo teraz w ekipie gospodarzy wszyscy żyją jedynie operacją "Derry City" i tak na prawdę to dla nich inauguracja mogła by być dopiero za tydzień. Czemu więc jednak? Ano pewnie dlatego, że Gretna to Gretna i niestety (albo stety) po raz kolejny przystępuje do nowego sezonu w roli głównego faworyta do wygrania ligi. Nie będzie już może takiej dominacji jak rok temu, ale raczej nikt nie będzie lepszy na finiszu rozgrywek. Accies to na pewno ambitna drużyna, ale z całą pewnością sporo słabsza od górniczej 11-tki. W przeciwnym wypadku jak to mówią dupa blada. Tak więc typ na zwycięstwo bogatszych, ale ostrożnie.

To już chyba nieco pewniejszy typ. Gospodarze będą w czubie tabeli i jak przed rokiem, powalczą o awans. Clyde to ekipa młodych wilków, która już w poprzednim sezonie zagrała sporo niezłych meczy. Być może w tym już urosną do rangi czarnych koni rozgrywek, ale jednak podejrzewam, że u progu sezonu jeszcze mogą nie być aż tak skuteczni i z "Saints" nie dadzą rady.

Greencock Morton - Raith Rovers --> 1 @ 1.67 Betoddoreven
Chciałoby się napisać: nie ma Gretny to już nic ich nie powstrzyma przed awansem . I chyba tak będzie, że Morton zajmie pierwsze miejsce na koniec rozgrywek. Oczywiście będą mu przeszkadzały inne ekipy, ale na pewno nie zaliczają się do nich "Rovers". Jeśli magia pierwszej kolejki nie zadziała to w miarę pewne zwycięstwo gospodarzy na inaugurację sezonu, po którym bardzo wiele sobie obiecują.

Berwick Rangers - Albion Rovers --> 1 @ 1.57 Skybet
"Mighty Rovers" - klub z tak bogatą tradycją, a po raz kolejny rozpoczyna rozgrywki w osłabionym składzie i po raz kolejny skazuje się na dolne rejony tabeli. A szkoda. I od razu na początek ciężki wyjazd do ekipy, która będzie walczyła o awans, więc wiele wskazuje na to, że sezon "Rovers" rozpoczną od porażki.


Narazie tak jedynie ogólnikowo, bo gro czasu spędzam na gromadzeniu danych do czegoś w rodzaju skarbu kibica szkockich lig, a to co tu wypociłem to tylko moje wnioski do tego, co już gdzieś nawyczytywałem o sytuacjach w poszczególnych klubach przed nadchodzącym sezonem.
Postaram się zamieścić to, nad czym już jakiś czas pracuję, w okolicach poniedziałku-wtorku.

Zdecydowanie spotkanie drugiej kolejki PremierLeague. Spotykają się mistrz Szkocji - Celtic Glasgow z wicemistrzem - Hearts of Midlothian Edynburg. Celtic jest obok Rangersów i Hearts największym faworytem do wygrania tegorocznych rozgrywek ligowych. Już w pierwszej kolejce "The Bhoys" pokonali (4:1) Kilmarnock. Hearts także początek ligowy może zaliczyć do udanych. "Serca" w pierwszej kolejce pokonały na wyjeździe (2:1) Dunfermline. W środku tygodnia obydwie jedenastki grały poza Szkocją. Celtic postanowił w trakcie już sezonu rozegrać towarzyskie spotkanie w JAPONII z Yokohama Marinos. Celtic przegrał to spotkanie (0:3). Na pewno wpływ na tą sytuacje miała długa podróż ze Szkocji do Japonii. Mecz był wyjątkowy dla Shunsuke Nakamury, który występował w tej drużynie. Hearts grało także swoje spotkanie w środku tygodniu w drugiej rundzie kwalifikacyjnej Ligi Mistrzów z Bośniackim Siroki Brijeg. W pierwszym spotkaniu Hearts wygrało (3:0). W rewanżu padł bezbramkowy remis. Nie zagrał w Brijeg Jankauskas i Tall. Hearts w tym tygodniu podpisało kontrakty z nowymi graczami. Pozyskali obrońce Christosa Karpidisa z PAOK-u Saloniki i Tiago Coste z Benfiki Lizbona .

Faworytem tego spotkania będzie Hearts, które co prawda w środku tygodnia grali spotkanie, ale w Bośni a Celtic wybrał się w podróż do Japonii. Takie podróże źle wpływają na zawodników. Efekt już widoczny był w meczu z japońskim zespołem Yokohama Marinos. Myślę, że Hearts nie przegra tego spotkania więc warto zagrać 1x dla bardziej odważnych czysta jedynka.

Morton must start as favourites for the automatic promotion spot after just missing out last season.
In my opinion, Peterhead, Stirling Albion, Brechin City and Raith Rovers will probably be the other clubs filling the top five positions.
I feel that you can toss a coin between the other five teams for who will go down.
But, when you have a squad of 18 or 19 players, losing any of them can be a blow, so keeping free of injuries and suspensions will be important in deciding who finishes where.

ALLOA ATHLETIC

Allan Maitland did a phenomenal job last season after taking over in January.
Pulling back 15 points to avoid relegation was a fabulous achievement.
Ins and outs
But he has lost Jamie Stevenson to Morton.
The hardest thing in the bottom half is to score goals and losing one of the best players in the league means that they will simply be looking to stablise themselves in the division this term.

AYR UNITED

Ayr have a history of doing well and have a good manager in Robert Connor.
But they don't have much money and have had to cut their cloth accordingly.
Ins and outs
He is building a team and brought in some young players from the junior ranks, but inconsistency comes with that.
Most of his team being part-time, he has lost the excellent Craig Conway to Dundee United and I don't see them challenging for promotion.

BRECHIN CITY

Brechin were relegated last season but are a strong, experienced side.
They have a good goalkeeper in Craig Nelson and have brought in John Ward from Cowdenbeath to strengthen the defence.
Ins and outs
So I reckon they will be up there challenging for promotion and a quick return to Division One.

COWDENBEATH

I watched Cowdenbeath in a pre-season friendly against Dunfermline and they were extremely unlucky.
Mixu Paatelanen has done well for them since taking over and has them training hard.

But they are in the area where he will be happy just to keep them in the league.

FORFAR ATHLETIC

George Shaw has taken over but has lost Barry Sellars to Arbroath.
He was a big player for them in midfield as they avoided relegation last season.
Ins and outs
Sellars will be hard to replace and I think Forfar will again struggle to avoid the drop.

MORTON

We played against them last week and I haven't changed my mind that they are my heavy favourites for the title.
Jim McInally has not added a lot of players, but maybe he feels he does not need to make many changes as they are full-time and they are going to be there or thereabouts.
Ins and outs
There was not much between them and ourselves last season and he has had another year to work with the players he has.
He has also added Jamie Stevenson, who was one of the best players in the division last season, and Jamie McGowan on loan from Celtic looks an excellent player and will make a difference.

PETERHEAD

Iain Stewart was my manager of the year last season.
He had a phenomenal season, taking a part-time club to the play-offs and so close to promotion.
Ins and outs
He has reasonable players and a reasonable budget.
But he has lost Kevin Nicol, who is a good midfield player but has gone to Iceland.
So that might just tip the balance in favour of Morton.

RAITH ROVERS

I speak regularly with Gordon Dalziel and I think he will be very happy to just finish among the top five.
Ins and outs
It is a shame that such a big club with a reasonable support finds itself so badly off financially.
Gordon is trying to bring in experienced players like Jason Dair and I think they are capable of finishing in the top half.

STIRLING ALBION

Allan Moore has done a magificent job with Stirling and they went close to qualifying for the play-offs last season despite having a poor start.
He has built a good footballing side
Ins and outs
They have lost Paddy Connolly up front, but they have brought in Dene Shields and his younger legs could help.

And I think they will again be in for a top-five finish.

STRANRAER

Gerry Brittain has taken over and virtually had to build a new team as he was left with about four signed players during the summer.
Ins and outs
I know they were relegated last season and their fans will be hoping to bounce straight back up.
But I think they face an almost impossible task to be up their challenging.

But I reckon mid-table is about the best they can hope for this time.

ARBROATH

Arbroath made a poor start last season and their confidence was low after being relegated.
But John McGlashan came in, instilled more belief and they qualified for the play-offs before losing to Second Division Alloa.

They have experience in all the right areas and will be up there chasing promotion again this time.

BERWICK RANGERS

Berwick have an excellent, experienced manager in John Coughlin and just missed out after the play-offs last season.
But they have lost a few players from their squad and might not be as strong as last season.

However, John will get them organised and they will be up their challenging again this season.

DUMBARTON

Gerry McCabe is in his first managerial job but has retained most of his squad from the Second Division.
They have some strong players and, if they start the season well, they will be challengers for promotion.

However, much will depend on how they react to being relegated and how their pre-season preparations have gone.

EAST FIFE

Maybe passing the ball around is not East Fife's main strength, but they are a big, physical team.

They have made a few changes during the summer, but I think they will again finish about mid-table.

EAST STIRLINGSHIRE

Hopefully, Shire won't be last again and put themselves in danger of dropping out the Scottish Football League.
I've heard that they are likely to be stronger and much better organised this season.

But it's still hard to see them finishing above the bottom two places again this term.

ELGIN CITY

Brian Irvine did well when he took over at Elgin during last season.
He improved them a lot and they almost qualified for the play-offs.
Ins and outs
It depends on whether the initial boost from the change in manager proves to be a real improvement.
But I think they will be challenging for one of the four play-off places.

MONTROSE

Eddie Wolecki and David Robertson have strengthened their squad a lot during the summer.
They have had a healthy budget to work with, but time will tell whether they have spent it wisely.

It's Eddie's first full season in charge and working with the players and I fancy them for a mid-table finish.

QUEEN'S PARK

Billy Stark will have Queen's Park organised, they have some pace up front and have some good passers of the ball in midfield.
They can give any team in the division a problem, especially at home, where they make use of the wide spaces at Hampden.

Much may depend on how they fare away from home, but I think they will be challenging for a play-off place.

STENHOUSEMUIR

Des McKeown's side will start as favourites to go up.
They had a strong squad last season and have had some money to spend last year and during the summer.

If they get a good start and keep the dressing-room together, they will be up there at the end of the season.

I couldn't pinpoint someone who's going to run away with it. The division is going to be really competitive this year.

I'd imagine Livingston, St. Johnstone, Dundee and Gretna could be up there, the clubs with strength in depth, who can better handle a season vying at the top.

I wouldn't rule out my old club Partick Thistle doing something in this division as well.

Someone will struggle and unfortunately it was Brechin last year, when I was with them. We tailed off early on and it's hard to recover that lost ground.

AIRDRIE UNITED

They surprised a few people last year. Not just in their final position but the way they played too.
Sandy Stewart has been able to build on that squad and there's no shortage of experience there.

He's picked up Marc Smyth from Partick Thistle and he has that uncompromising, winning habit.

CLYDE

They have their managerial issues but players just get on with it.
Clyde proved everyone wrong last season and they gave my Stranraer team the runaround in a recent friendly.

They had to start last season from scratch but they have managed to retain the bulk of the squad that was put together. They are a good footballing side.

DUNDEE

You don't get much better than Alex Rae when it comes to experience and quality.
Dundee have done well to bring him in and I think he can do good things for them.

They've also brought in guys of the calibre of Andy McLaren.

GRETNA

Gretna have the momentum from coming up and they also have that bonus of European football.
The team have a winning habit and it will be interesting to see if they can continue in that vein.

Just when they need to they strengthen and they have brought in Neil MacFarlane, another experienced head.

HAMILTON ACADEMICAL

They are a good passing side and they have the pitch to suit their style.
Hamilton are one of the most changed sides since last season and it will be tough for those replacing they players who have left.

I'm sure Billy Reid will be looking to add more players too.

LIVINGSTON

Historically it's difficult for clubs to to back up but Livingston have it within them to do so.
Manager John Robertson has been here before and won promotion.

They have lost players because of relegation but they have sufficient quality to fight for promotion

PARTICK THISTLE

They are in this division on merit and they have had an excellent pre-season.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are up there and Dick Campbell is a very shrewd operator.

Thistle have added more quality in Simon Donnelly and big Paddy Keogh.

QUEEN OF THE SOUTH

I think they can push on from last season under Ian McCall. I don't think they'll struggle as much.
The difference from last season when they had a good 11 is that they now have a good squad of players.

They've got Graham Weir from Hearts on a permanent deal and Sean O' Connor has signed on too.

ROSS COUNTY

I was speaking to Scott Leitch and he recognised that County have been a good football side and he wants to make them physically stronger.
I'm sure that in his first managerial venture he'll get the best out of his players.
Ins and outs
Derek Adams is a quality player and he's a great signing for Ross County.

ST JOHNSTONE

I expect them to be challenging more than they did last year.
My only gripe with Owen Coyle is that I'd like to see him feature more in the team though it can be hard as a player-manager.

They have a strength in depth, a bolstered back line and some fantastic finishers at the club.

SOBOTA: Aberdeen - Inverness
Iverness głównie z powodu swojej fatalnej skuteczności przegrało niespodziewanie w 1.kolejce z beniaminkiem St.Mirren (1-2) a już w drugiej kolejce zagra na wyjeżdzie z Aberdeen z którym jeszcze nigdy nie wygrało (0-3-4). Gospodarze nie przegrali na własnym boisku w 11 kolejnych meczach i wszystko wskazuje na to że w sobotę przedłużą tą serię. Po remisie z Hibernian (1-1) trener Aberdeen Jimmy Calderwood liczy na komplet punktów w pierwszym w tym sezonie meczu przed własną publicznością. Opiekun gospodarzy liczy przede wszystkim na to że ich rywal nie ograniczy się do obrony jak to miało miejsce z większością drużyn przyjeżdżających na stadion Pittodrie w zeszłym sezonie. Poza tym, trzeba pamiętac że sobotni meczu to derby północnej Szkocji i nikogo nie będzie trzeba specjalnie motywowac do walki o zwycięstwo. Moim zdaniem, to jednak gospodarze wykarzą większą inicjatywę i podtrzymają dobrą statystykę wzajemnych meczów z Inverness. Po zaciętym meczu stawiam na wygrana Aberdeen (1.90).

Przy meczu HoM-Celtic trzeba wziąść pod uwage, że Hearts gra w środe w El.LM i to wydaje mi się będzie mecz piorytetowy. Wiadomo, że awans do LM doo spora kasa i bardziej skłaniam się w strone Celticu jednak i tak no bet dla mnie. Ten mecz towarzyski potraktowali na luzie i żeby tylko rozegrać i nie powinnien mieć większego wpływu na ten mecz.

Hearts - Celtic

Celtic wydaje się być zdecydowanym faworytem do wygrania ligi szkockiej w tym roku. Powodów ku temu jest kilka, najsilniejsza, zgrana kadra, sprawdzony już w wyspiarskim futbolu trener, którego praca przynosi skutki, a do tego niezła forma jak na początek sezonu, w sparingach może nie zachwycali ale już w pierwszym meczu sezonu Celci rozbili 4-1 zespół Kilmarnock, co prawda nie jest to wymagający rywal, ale w lidze szkockiej niewielu jest takich. Hearts natomiast w pierwszym meczu ligowym wygrało 2-1 z Dunfermline (jednym z najsłabszych zespołów poprzedniego sezonu). Za nimi również eliminacje do LM, zwycięstwo w dwumeczu z Siroki Brijeg 3-0 (3-0 i 0-0). Jak widać ani rywale, ani osiągnięte wyniki nie zachwycają. Z zespołu odszedło kilku liderów - Rudi Skacel, Paul Hartley, czy Andy Webster. Przyszło również kilku piłkarzy m.in. czylijczyk Pinilla (który niewiadomo czy zagra). Jeśli chodzi o Celtic ze wzmocnień warto wymienić Jarosika, Riordana, czy reprezentanta Szkocji, niezwykle szybkiego napastnika Kenny Millera. Powodem do radości dla fanów Celticu jest również fakt, że w klubie pozostał lider zespołu, kapitan Stilian Petrow, odszedł jedynie potężnie zbudowany napastnik John Hartson, a kariere skończył weteran Roy Kean. Kolejnym atutem zespołu z Glagow jest bardzo szeroka kadra, wrazie gdyby jakiś piłkarz zawodził menedżer ma cały wachlarz możliwości do zmiany na każdej pozycji. Ambicja Celticu sięga w tym roku o wiele dalej niż zdobycie mistrzostwa Szkocji, fani oczekują również conajmniej awansu do fazy pucharowje w LM. To taki krótki wstęp apropo sytuacji na początku sezonu w obu klubach.

Teraz coś apropo meczu, forma Celticu rosnąca (nie przywiązywałbym uwagi do meczu towarzyskiego z japończykami, tam Celtic grał w rezerwowym składzie), jedynym poważnym osłabieniem wydaje się być brak Maloneya. Kilku graczy już w pierwszej kolejce pokazało, że są w niezłej formie (Żurawski, Nakamura, Jarosik, Miller). H2H na korzyść Celticu, a ostatnie 0-3 w meczu z Hearts było wynikiem tego, że zespół już o nic nie walczył i nie grał w najsilniejszym składzie. W zeszłym roku pomiędzy tymi zespołami doszło do 3 "meczy o stawke", 2 razy wygrał Celtic, raz był remis. Gospdarze, jak już mowiłem nie są w najwyższej formie na początku sezonu, ich siła jest przede wszystkim waleczności i szybcy, dobrzy technicznie napastnicy.
