Boston ryzykuje bardzo dużo wydając tyle kasy na pitchera, o którym jeszcze nie wiadomo czy od razu nada się do ligi. Jednak kasa im się szybko zwróci ze względu na to, że Japończycy mają świra na punkcie baseballa i swoich rodaków grających w Stanach i będą kupowac wszystko co z nimi związane. Do poziomu popularności Ichiro z Seattle Mariners jeszcze Matsuzace trochę brakuję, ale kto wie jak będzie dalej.

W tym sezonie kluby mają bardzo dużo kasy do wydania, a mało jest ciekawych free-agentów co przekłada się na ogromne kontrakty dla tych co je teraz podpisują.
